Wall jib crane

Targeted reach where you need it,
without additional loss of space.

STANDAERT ROLBRUGGEN

What is a wall jib crane?

A wall jib crane is a lifting installation that is attached to an existing wall, column or steel structure and has a rotating arm. A trolley with hoist moves along this arm, allowing loads to be easily moved within a defined work zone.

Because the crane is attached to the structure and does not take up floor space, it is a space-saving solution. Wall jib cranes are often used as a complement to larger crane systems or for specific workstations.

Typical applications

  • Workstations along walls or in production halls
  • Operation of machines and workbenches
  • Loading and unloading zones with limited space
  • Support for overhead cranes
  • Efficient lifting solution without floor construction

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A wall jib crane can be mounted to an existing wall, column or steel structure. This makes it a space-saving solution as no floor space is required. Standaert Rolbruggen checks in advance whether the existing structure has sufficient load-bearing capacity for the intended application.

Wall jib cranes are available with a lifting capacity from 50 kg to 5 tonnes and an outreach up to 10 metres. The rotation range varies from 90° to 270°, depending on the installation location and available space. Operation can be manual or electric, with an optional electric trolley.

Yes, wall jib cranes are often used as a complement to larger crane systems. They provide targeted reach at specific workstations or machines where an overhead crane cannot always be used optimally. This increases the flexibility and efficiency of your overall lifting installation.
